The Cincinnati Reds are finalizing a deal to acquire infielder Gavin Lux from the Los Angeles Dodgers, sources tell ESPN. In exchange for Lux, the Dodgers will receive the 37th pick in the 2025 MLB Draft -- a pick that is allowed to be traded because it was a Competitive Balance selection -- and outfield prospect Mike Sirota.

If Gavin Lux can become the answer that solves the Cincinnati Reds' worst position in 2024, he'll be a lot more than just a pretty left-handed bat.
