Circular is bringing more finishes, a titanium build, eight days of battery life, and digital sizing to its second-generation smart ring.

Circular has officially announced the Circular Ring 2, its second generation smart ring that includes a new feature that will certainly pique the interest of those that want to keep a closer eye on their heart health.

The Circular Ring Gen 2, which was announced on Jan. 5 just ahead of CES 2025, is one of few smart rings that can detect atrial fibrillation. It's a feature that's become common in smartwatches but is still relatively rare on smart rings.

The Ring 2 features ECG and AFib detection, giving it an edge over the Samsung Galaxy Ring and Oura Ring. Circular is revamping its companion app for better user experience and plans to launch the Ring 2 after a crowdfunding campaign.

Circular is making the process of buying a smart ring seamless by involving AI. And it seems to be a work in progress right now.
