In Severance Season 2, Episode 2, one of the biggest questions about the timeline is finally answered. At the end of Season 1, the Innies (the work versions of the characters) believed that nearly six months had passed since the "overtime contingency" incident.

In Episode 2, we pick up moments after the events of the Season 1 finale. The “Outies” of Mark S. (Adam Scott), Helly R. (Britt Lower), Dylan G. (Zach Cherry) and Irving B.
