U.S. stocks edged back from their all-time highs as some of the steam came out of Wall Street's long, record-breaking rally

U.S. stocks hovered near record levels on Friday as Netflix shares surged, while CVS Health slid amid mixed reports on profits.

U.S. stocks are drifting around their all-time highs Monday, as momentum for Wall Street’s record-breaking rally cools a bit.

In another sign of how greed has trumped fear, the S&P 500 hasn’t suffered back-to-back losses in about 30 sessions.

Dow Jones futures, along with S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures, were little changed ahead of Tuesday's stock market open. Nvidia stock rallied to new highs Monday. The coming week will be light on economic data with the highlight likely being Thursday morning's release of initial jobless claims for the week through Oct.

Stocks futures were lower Monday morning, as investors prepare for a flurry of earnings reports from major companies in the coming days. Major indexes are riding six-week winning streaks.
