Wall Street's main indexes were set for a lower open on Tuesday, as investors awaited a testimony from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell for insight on tariffs and their impact on inflation in the world's biggest economy.

ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.24 per cent, the S&P 500 lost 0.24 per cent, the Nasdaq Composite lost 0.28 per cent

S&P 500 E-Mini futures (ESH25) are down -0.33%, andMarch Nasdaq 100 E-Mini futures (NQH25) are down -0.44% this morning as investors digested another round of tariffs introduced by U.S. President Donald Trump and looked ahead to Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell’s congressional testimony as well as Wednesday’s release of a key U.
