The goal of the DeSoto Central High School Counseling Department is to see all of our students healthy, happy and achieving his/her very best both in and out of the classroom. Our department consists of five counselors that serve our approximately 2,000 students, as well as a Mental Health Therapist, an MSIS Coordinator and a Cohort Clerk.

With the completion of the 2022-2023 basketball season, DeSoto Central made some major strides towards the future. Starting 4 sophomores, the Jags had an overall record of 14-12 and a division record of 3-5.
