Oct 29, 2020 · Sometimes there are worn dies that strike the planchets that have a bit of compacted debris so a small part of a lettervis not formed properly. On your coin it's the G in GOD. Looks loke a C. But it's nothing major and only worth silver melt value since you're showing a winged liberty head dime.

Jan 27, 2016 · Most people are willing to accept that coin in question is worth 1.00815 than buy a scales, clean their Dime and ask 1.040393. It is my understanding major market buyers use this number instead of the alternative of buying large quantities underweight 90% .. and using the proverbial bigger truck philosophy.

Feb 3, 2021 · I love coin roll hunting and recently was going through some wheat penny rolls and found this 1944 that is struck on a planchet that is a couple mm too small, it has almost no rim and is noticeably smaller than a normal wheat penny.
