The torque converter is spinning anytime the engine is running, but is only under load when the car is in gear either forward or reverse. As soon as you shift into Neutral, the sound goes away. There still isn’t a lot of aftermarket accessories for Indians since the brand has not been out that long but give it time I know they will come.

I keep my chief-hannigan inside it. That reminds and teases me the reverse gear is something id love on the chief/chieftain with hannigan heritage.Wonder if there is a kit.Anyone ?

Nov 30, 2016 · Vehicle starts up fine. Engine idles regularly, in neutral the engine can be revved up with no problem. When car is put into reverse or drive, the engine sputters and then seizes up and dies. Check engine and oil light comes on after car engine dies. Oil recently changed. My car has 85000 miles.
