José Álvaro Osorio Balvín (born 7 May 1985), better known by his stage name J Balvin, is a Colombian singer. He has been referred to as the "Prince of Reggaeton" (from Spanish: "Príncipe del Reguetón"), [2][3] and is one of the best-selling Latin artists, with over 35 million records sold worldwide. [4][5] Balvin was born in Medellín.
