Maryam Nawaz Sharif (Urdu: مریم نواز شریف; born 28 October 1973), is a Pakistani politician who has served as the 20th chief minister of Punjab, since 26 February 2024. She is the first woman to hold the position of chief minister in Pakistan.

She is the chairperson of the Sharif Trust since 1997. Her Great-grandfather was the Great Gama, who was a wrestler (born as Ghulam Muhammad). In 2013, she got politically active and did election marketing campaigns for her father Nawaz Sharif for the general election. Her husband is 10 years older to her.
