All of the exploits / bugs have been removed, as the world more or less follows the logic of our own world unless explicitly stated otherwise. This is also a good thing though, because it means most of the arbitrary constraints of the game don't apply.

I played through Skyrim SE last fall when I first got my steam deck and it's still as fun as ever. Certainly not a perfect game but the exploration is what makes it legendary even after 12 years. I can't change the difficulty?? It keeps resetting to Novice.
My next step is to download the "Wildcat - Combat of Skyrim" mod and adjust the Novice difficulty damage multipliers to match Legendary. I hope a proper fix comes along soon, but seeing the same issue discussed for ages without resolution is discouraging.

Skyrim is a fantastic game that's absolutely worth the price for the amount and quality of game you get, but at the same time a decade-old game should not be sold at full price.
